Rosebank SchoolListening, Responding, Learning

We are a class of seven pupils in year 1 and 2. We are working at the foundation stage.

In our class we prioritise learning through play. We encourage independence and emotional development by teaching our children self-regulation strategies. We are a sensory based classroom which means pupils have access to sensory rooms, light rooms, splash, sand and water play to support sensory needs at all times. We are a very energetic and lively group of children and you can often find us outdoors playing and learning through our environment.

This term our topic is 'Good to be Me' where the children will be learning about different emotions and developing their sense of self.
